Policies
Policies, Rules, and Regulations.
Check Out: 12:00 noon – Check-in: 2:00 PM. Charges may apply for late departures.
Quiet Time: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Noise that can be heard outside of your campsite is prohibited. NO generators, chain saws, loud radios, or shouting.
Pets: NO ROTTWEILER’S, PIT BULLS, OR ANY VICIOUS PETS ALLOWED. Well behaved, controlled pets are welcome. Never leave your pet unattended. Pets must be on a leash at all times. When they poop, you have to scoop!! No pets in any buildings. Pets must be inside during quiet time.
SPEED LIMIT: Five mph is strictly enforced.
FIRES: Do not move, dig or alter your fire ring for any reason. Let fire burn out, do not pour water on it. No garbage, cans, or glass in fire pit. Moderate fires only.
One RV or two tents per site. Two-tent maximum on tent sites NO EXCEPTIONS!
(IF IT HAS WHEELS, IT IS AN RV.)
FEES: Rates include one car and two people only. There is an additional fee for an extra vehicle. Maximum of six people per site on most sites, some sites maximum of four people. Car tags must be visible at all times. Other charges may apply.
Cancellations: With a two-day notice you will forfeit the price of one night’s camping. If you cancel ithin two days of arrival, you will forfeit the entire cost for all of the nights of your reservation. (Holidays require two-week notice.)
Fish/Abalone: Use the cleaning station next to the office. Do not clean fish or abalone in your site.
Minors: Parents are responsible for the behavior and safety of their children. Adult supervision is necessary at all times when minors are out of your camp site. Minors must be in their site by 10:00 PM and not wandering the park.
Bicycles: Are allowed and should be ridden with a helmet. No skateboards or motorized scooters are allowed in the park.
Smoking: NO Smoking in any buildings. Dispose of cigarette butts in receptacles (not on the ground).
Grey Water: It is against California law to dump grey water on the ground. A dump station is available for your use.
Vandalism: In any form is not acceptable.
Prohibited Items: The use of firearms, BB guns, bow and arrows, slingshots, throwing knives or axes, fireworks, or any other types of projectiles is strictly prohibited.
Tables: There is one table and one fire ring per site. Extra tables may be rented at the store for $10.00 for the duration of your stay. DO NOT take tables from other sites.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY: ADULT SUPERVISION is required for children playing in or near the water. NO glass containers are allowed on beach.
Wood Gathering is Prohibited: Do not bring pallets or construction material, etc. into the park. Do not cut vegetation, tree limbs, or flowers in the Park. (Commercial delivery of firewood is strictly prohibited.)
Washing or Repairing of any boat or vehicle is strictly prohibited.
Restrooms and Showers: Showers are coin operated to conserve on water. Please help keep them clean. DO NOT wash wet suits in the showers. DO NOT wash dishes in the laundry room.
ALL OCCUPANTS: of the park MUST ABIDE by all federal, state, and Park laws and policies. Violation of these policies may result in eviction from the Park.
Registration: Register at the office upon arrival. If you arrive after business hours, fill out a night registration form and come to the office between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM the next morning to complete your paper work.
Reservations: May be made up to one year in advance. Wagon master groups can book two years in advance.
Theft and Loss: Gualala River Redwood Park is not responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to property. Keep coolers, bikes, etc inside at night.
Trading Post: We have a supply of groceries, RV supplies, firewood, ice, and sundries available. Tell the Trading Post you have read the rules and get a free gift. There is free coffee for our guests in store until 10:00 AM.
DO YOUR PART: Keep your campsite clean, please recycle, and conserve water and electricity (precious resources here on the coast).
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON!
COMMON COURTESY SHALL PREVAIL WITH ALL GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES. THREATENING LANGUAGE OR INAPPROPRIATE ACTIONS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY RESULT IN EVICTION.
